The Microsoft Azure Kinect depth camera is a piece of kit that is easy to set up and hugely rewarding. I've already shown how the depth camera to be used for creative effect but it also has body tracking capability that is fun to explore. By standing in front of the camera you can translate these body joints to an avatar rigging in Unity. In this prototype, I wanted to experience what it would be like to walk around a space populated with avatars that were copying my movements. The results are fascinating and hilarious.
