Penshurst Place wanted an app that would allow their visitors to explore the house & gardens and learn about the amazing history, plants, art and artefacts. The app includes a live interactive map, and curated Journeys that a user can complete on their visit. There are also sculptures and artefacts that can be taken home using the magic of Augmented Reality.
This app was built with our design partners at Considered Creative for Penshurst Place & Gardens in Kent. We developed the app using Flutter, Firebase, and Flamelink —the 3F stack! Flutter is a fantastic SDK built on the Dart language that allows us to write code that compiles natively to both iOS and Android. It also now supports Web from the same codebase. This is incredible and means we can create awesome apps and websites that have a consistent look-and-feel across all platforms.
